N-ocular volume holographic imaging

Abstract

We describe the functioning of volume holograms as depth selective imaging elements under broadband illumination and discuss the tradeoff between depth resolution and lateral field of view. We demonstrate that multiple measurements offset the resolution degradation by use of proper image inversion schemes.
