Abstract

Large-aperture lightweight space optics are critical for future NASA space science missions. To enable missions such as SAFIR, SUVO, MTRAP and TPF, NASA requires a unified technology development effort between government, industry and academia. The goal of this effort is to return a 10X cost savings on each dollar invested.
