Abstract

We have designed and fabricated a novel four-channel S-shaped Arrayed Waveguide Grating centered at 1.54 microns on InP with applications in Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing. The waveguide consists of InP cladding layers and an InGaAsP guiding layer. The waveguides were fabricated by photolithography and Reactive Ion Etching.
