Abstract
Optical coherence tomography is a promising new imaging technology for gastrointestinal endoscopy. Preliminary and ongoing investigations demonstrate the potential to improve diagnosis of dysplasia and early cancer. Computer-aided diagnosis improves EOCT diagnostic accuracy and will enable screening procedures. Further improvements in technology and technique will enhance diagnostic accuracy.
