Lessons Learned from GOSAT and Improvements for the Next Mission

Abstract

TANSO-FTS onboard GOSAT has observed CO2 and CH4 globally from space since Feb. 7, 2009. From two years operation, we have learned much about FTS in space and will discuss items to improve performance, function, and robustness for the next mission.
