The REFIR-PAD far-infrared Fourier transform spectroradiometer

Abstract

The REFIR-PAD spectroradiometer, operating in the 100-1400 cm−1 spectral range with a resolution up to 0.25 cm−1, is based on a misalignment-compensated Mach-Zehnder design that exploits Ge-coated Mylar beamsplitters and uncooled pyroelectric detectors for broadband, room-temperature operation in the mid/far-infrared range.
