SHIMCAD Breadboard: Design and Characterization Overview

Abstract

We describe the design and characterization of a breadboard longwave infrared spatial heterodyne spectroscopy interferometer. By measuring key instrument parameters, we show that machining tolerances are sufficient for LWIR interferometers without post-integration alignment options.
