Abstract

The Fourier Transform Spectroscopy (FTS) method is applied to the measurement of a telecom SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) OC192 source. The impact of the spectral features of the SONET source and the Interferometer arm speed profile on the derived optical spectrum is determined.
