Abstract

We proposed several achievements on the researches on the hybrid plasmoinc waveguide components or structures, including wavelength filters and demultiplexers, and active waveguides via electrically pumping mechanism. The hybrid plasmonic waveguide in the present paper is based on silicon which is considered to be a promising platform for integration of both photonic and electronic devices.
