Optical load sensors utilizing fiber-Bragg-grating based Fabry-Perot resonators

Abstract

We present novel optical load sensors utilizing fiber Bragg grating based Fabry-Perot structures theoretically and experimentally. Transversal loading can be measured through the wavelength separation of the transmission peak split, which is temperature insensitive.
