Abstract

The polarization dependent gain (PDG) in a fiber Raman amplifier with multiple forward pumps is investigated. The PDGs induced by pump-pump Raman interaction, pump-signal Raman interaction, signal-signal Raman interaction, and all-wave Raman interaction are studied.
