Towards high-power, high-efficiency random fiber lasers: theoretical and experimental investigations

Abstract

We theoretically and experimentally investigate the high-power random fiber laser based on half-open cavity design and achieve the highest output power (8.8W) with the shortest G.652 fiber length (1km) reported to date.
