Abstract

Solar thermoelectric generator (STG) using cheap parabolic concentrator with high ZT modules can be a cost-effective alternative to solar photovoltaics for micro-power generation. Using novel thermoelectric materials, conversion efficiency of 5.5% can be achieved for a STG.
