Abstract

Pairing DAΦNE and CBETA accelerators with a CO2 laser operating in a repetitive pulse-burst mode results in 1021 ph/(s·mm2·mrad2·0.1%BW) peak brilliance at 50-1000 keV comparable to the capabilities of synchrotron light sources at hard x-rays.
