Relativistic Flying Mirrors as a Compact Source of Coherent Short-Wavelength Radiation

Abstract

Relativistic mirrors in laser plasmas offer a promising way for development of compact and tunable sources of coherent short-wavelength radiation. Here we investigate recoil effects on reflection of high-intensity laser pulses from such mirrors.
