Q-switched Er-doped all-fiber laser based on W0.5Mo0.5S2 saturable absorber

Abstract

A Q-switched Er-doped all fiber laser based on a novel saturable absorber W0.5Mo0.5S2 is demonstrated. We obtain an output of the pulse energy of 256.5 nJ and 1.9 μs of pulse width at 1560nm central wavelength.
