3D Flash LIDAR Simulation for Autonomous Driving under Various Weather Conditions

Abstract

We develop a numerical model for a 3D flash LIDAR system, using a Monte Carlo method along with Kim’s model and Henyey-Greenstein phase function, and exploit it for LIDAR image deterioration under various weather conditions.
