Abstract

We present a near-field streaking experiment at single metal nanotips employing near-infrared (NIR) pulses and single-cycle terahertz (THz) transients. Femtosecond infrared pulses generate photoelectrons, which are subsequently accelerated in the THz-induced near-field of the tip apex.
