Abstract
Twin-beam squeezed vacuum state is a very promising non-classical state of light. In theory, it exhibits perfect photon-number correlation between the beams [1,2], so that with this state even Bell’s inequalities could be, in principle, violated [3]. On the other hand, this state can be macroscopic, therefore matter-mediated light-light and light-matter interactions will be much more efficient with it than with faint nonclassical light.
