Abstract

Quantum key distribution (QKD) is a procedure of information exchange between two parties, the sender Alice and the receiver Bob, which allows to distribute the absolutely secure data between them [1,2], The distinctive part of QKD with respect to classical communication is use of a quantum information channel, where carriers of information are essentially quantum. All possible values of the information carrier form a quantum alphabet.
