Broadband fluorescence from green-synthesized carbon dots

Abstract

Visible broadband fluorescence from green-synthesized carbon dots is demonstrated. Intermixing of carbon dot samples results in broadband fluorescence covering the visible spectrum. The results indicate carbon dots as green materials for designing white light sources.
