Recent advances in quartz enhanced photoacoustic sensing

Abstract

Recent achievements in mid-IR and THz quartz-enhanced photoacoustic (QEPAS) sensing obtained using custom quartz tuning forks (QTFs) will be reviewed. Results obtained with novel micro-resonator systems and overtone mode excitation of QTFs will be reported.
