Abstract

Recent advances of sensor systems, based on mid-infrared interband cascade lasers and quantum cascade lasers for the detection of trace gas species and their application in environmental monitoring, atmospheric chemistry, medical diagnostics, petrochemical industry, and national security will be reported.
