Cavity Enhanced Polarization Impedance Matching Spectroscopy

Abstract

We present a new optical cavity enhanced architecture for gas absorption measurements. A CO2 absorption line was measured with a low cavity finesse of 100, and noise equivalent absorption of 3.0×10-9 Hz-1/2 was achieved.
