Abstract

Digital-domain modulation and demodulation of FSK supervisory signal are demonstrated on 28 Gbaud 16QAM/QPSK adaptive transceivers. Unlike conventional AM pilot-tone approach, it requires no additional hardware and is immune to cross-gain modulation.
