Optical Arbitrary Waveform Generator Applicable to Pulse Generation and Chromatic Dispersion Compensation of a Remote UWB over Fiber System

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a novel optical arbitrary waveform generator based on multiple continuous wave lights employing double side band with suppressed carrier modulation, capable of generating Ultra-wideband pulses and compensating the fiber chromatic dispersion.
