Field trial of cm-level resolution PNC-OFDR for identifying high-birefringence section

Abstract

PNC-OFDR is tested in a field environment for the first time. A spatial resolution of 5 cm at 39.2 km is confirmed, which makes it possible to identify a high-birefringence section with a very short beat length.
