Parametric Gain and Pulse Compression in GaInP Photonic Crystal Waveguides

Abstract

We report 1.3dB parametric gain, a 2% four wave mixing conversion efficiency and ~25% pulse compression in a W1 GaInP photonic crystal waveguide fed by 32ps, 415mW pump pulses and a 700μW CW probe signal.
