Application of a precise integrating sphere method for the determination of in vitro optical properties of biological samples from domestic pig

Abstract

Based on theoretical investigations of integrating sphere measurements, we developed an novel approach for precise determination of optical properties. The setup was used to obtain the optical properties of various porcine tissue types between 400 nm and 1400 nm.
