Analysis of Photogem (hematoporphyrin derivative) and Blood Interaction

Abstract

Absorption spectroscopy and fluorescence confocal microscopy were used to study the photosensitizer-blood interaction. The main interaction is with plasma blood; however, part is binding to the red blood cells.
