Abstract

We propose a negative refraction for DPDW in an amplifying random medium, studied for two configurations – semi-infinite and slab, juxtaposed with absorbing ones. The negative phase introduced by the sign of the square root of the wave-vector induces unconventional modes at the interface between the two media.
