Real-time Scanning Confocal Microscope for the Life Sciences

Abstract

To image fast biological processes in three-dimensional space we introduce a highly sensitive fluorescence line scanner with image acquisition speeds in excess of 100 frames per second (512×512) and with confocal optical sectioning capabilities.
