Precise measurements of molecular lineshapes with direct comb spectroscopy

Abstract

Environmental related applications as concentration measurements of gas traces or thermometry, require a precise measurement of the molecular lineshapes. We demonstrate this can be done by using a direct comb spectroscopy that we applied to CO2 transitions around 2 µm wavelength.
