Abstract

Present paper reviews some of the recent optical fiber sensor developments employing in-fiber structures along with spectroscopic techniques, e.g., evanescent wave absorption, nanophotonics, plasmonics predominantly for monitoring structures that are subjected to adverse environmental changes.
