Open-path Detection Of Atmospheric CH4 And N2O Based On Quantum Cascade Laser

Abstract

A quantum cascade laser (QCL) emitting around 1274cm−1 based open-path sensor is developed for the simultaneous detection of CH4 and N2O. The sensor achieves a detection limit of 4ppbv for CH4 and 2ppbv for N2O.
