Oxidized AlGaAs angle reflector and waveguide for optical interconnects

Abstract

A novel oxidized AlGaAs angle reflector and waveguide for optical interconnects has been designed and fabricated. Successful transmission of the fundamental mode at 1.55 µm from in-plane to out-of-plane has been demonstrated.
