Abstract

A bifocal hybrid (diffractive-refractive) intraocular lens with an increased near vision acuity has been developed. The latter is attained by spherical cornea aberration correction with the help of a diffractive component. The lens image quality was investigated according to the ISO/DTS 11979-2 Standard.
