Modeling and testing phase mask stitching error for writing fiber gratings

Abstract

Superstructure in WDM fiber gratings can cause sidelobes in reflection spectrum. We analyze, diffraction of the e-beam phase masks with stitching error and show how it is imprinted into the fiber grating in side-writing fabrication.
