Interference enabled binary data encoding within broadband uniformly topologically charged terahertz beams

Abstract

This work demonstrates the encoding principle for wave trains consisting of interfering uniformly charged Laguerre-Gaussian terahertz beams carrying unitary and zero topological charges. Optimization of the receiving aperture and threshold for a binary encoding outcome is presented.
