Descattering and Reconstruction in Multimaterial Polyenergetic X-Ray Tomography Using Local Scatter Models

Not Accessible

Abstract

We use local models to estimate and subsequently remove scatter from polyenergetic radiographs of multimaterial objects and a polyenergetic onion peeling approach for reconstruction. Results show improved reconstruction accuracies for scatter-to-direct ratios up to 10×.
