Rainbow holographic display with diffraction grating and white light illumination

Abstract

In this work we propose novel rainbow holographic display. In the display phase only SLM with absorbing filter in 4F system provides capability of reconstruction of complex wave fields. The SLM is illuminated with rainbow generated by the diffraction grating illuminated with white light LED source. Experiment provides optical reconstructions.
