Abstract

We realized three-dimensional (3D) teleconference system where the optical structure of 3D display part is equivalent to that of 3D image capture part. It has an advantage in scalability since the field of view (FOV) from one projector is equivalent to that of one correspondent camera. But there is an annoying problem due to the specular reflection on the screen. In order to reduce this problem, we proposed two practical methods. One is the way to change the optical path and the structure of the display is modified with a beamsplitter and the other is the way to insert the optical films to reduce the unwanted reflection.
