See-through Integral Imaging Display with Background Occlusion Capability

Abstract

An integral imaging display with see-through and background occlusion capabilities is proposed. A symmetric integral imaging system consisting of multiple lens arrays is combined with modulation and masking layers. The system is experimentally verified.
