High-speed Digital Holography in Middle-ear Mechanics: From Laboratory to Clinical Use

Abstract

We present holographic methodologies for characterization of shape and nanometer scale motions of the human tympanic membrane, including measurements at rates > 40 kfps. Our efforts are to bring advanced metrology tools to the clinic.
