Near-field Fresnel Reconstruction of Digital Holograms

Abstract

Fresnel transform implementation methods are explored which dramatically reduce the minimum reconstruction distance requirements and allow maximal signal recovery with numerically improved resolution scaling at any distance. Methods are illustrated using experimental results.
