Abstract

The ability to reshape the wavefronts by nanoscale refractive-index inhomogeneities gives rise to a physical platform for digital holography, which has impacted many advanced photonic applications including imaging and focusing 1, three-dimensional (3D) display 2 and active plasmonics 3. In this regard, the capability of large refractive-index modulation and fast response in such an optical medium is highly demanded.
