Abstract
The perceived resolution is one of the important factors for the observer to evaluate the quality of the displayed 3D image. In realizing a 3D display, there are two methods using the polarization glasses – the active retarder and patterned retarder. We have compared the two methods using a haploscope to eliminate an additional distortion or noise from the additional optics.
