Measuring Vapour Cloud Concentrations with Digital Holography

Abstract

In a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, the vapour cloud surrounding an evaporating droplet is imaged with digital holography. Using an Abel inversion, quantitative local evaporation rates can be measured precisely for the first time.
