Optimal focusing In Situ: new routes for optical trapping and Biophotonics

Abstract

We present a method to eliminate optical aberrations originating in microscopic biological samples allowing one to restore the optimal focusing of lasers in situ after propagating through turbid media. We discuss possible applications in Biophotonics.
