Abstract

We have already developed a fast numerical wave-optics library, which was referred to as a GWO library, using multi-core processors such as Graphic Processing Units (GPU). The previous library supported several kinds of diffraction integrals (the angular spectrum method, the Fresnel diffractions and the Shifted-Fresnel diffraction), and calculation of the computer-generated-holograms on NVIDIA GPUs. In this paper, we report on a new GWO library running on the NVDIA and AMD GPUs, and its performance and applications.
